Choose Your Sole Type
There are two types of Nikken insoles. The hard ones pictured above have both a smooth side and a knobbly side for those who prefer a massage while they walk. I've yet to wear mine out after nine years! Then there are softer insoles called 'strides' which are much more comfortable for bare or stockinged feet and more flexible to put inside trainers for exercising. The strides incorporate far infra red energy as well as the magnetic field, so they are ideal if you have cold feet or foot problems.

Take The Sole Test
Here's a test you can do once you have them. Ensure you're adequately hydrated and have taken off any watches or other magnetic products, then hold your arm out and ask someone to count to three then press gently down on your arm whilst you resist. Get a feeling for how much effort it requires. Then hold a mobile phone against your heart or solar plexus and repeat the arm test as before. See what difference that makes to your ability to resist. Then put the insoles on the floor and step onto them. Keeping the phone in the same place repeat the strength test. You'll be amazed!
