St Johns Wort  | Summer is a fiery time, symbolised by St Johns Wort which helps to balance the amount of light and fire energy we carry. It protects us when we carry so much that we're over-sensitive and it nourishes us when we have become low in spirits and need 'lightening up'. It has become the inspiration for a new range of karmic essences which I'm launching this month to help you release ancestral and past life issues. Read more below. Too much fire can lead to burnout so this month's featured essence is designed to help if you're currently feeling really depleted.  In response to your requests there's now an added option of receiving the new planetary blends as energy downloads as well as physical essences.  When so much of our body and brain consists of water the most significant difference we can make to our health is to change the quality and energy of the water that we use for drinking and bathing.

 Essence of the Month: Red Valerian
From Burnout to Balance
Summer is, elementally speaking, a time of heat and fire when we can find ourselves burning out. Many of us instinctively head for the balancing element of the sea or fresh mountain air at this time of year.
I've certainly felt myself 'on fire' with work projects and as I walk past banks of red valerian every day they have been a huge, cooling comfort. If we're feeling overextended and unhealthily driven this essence can release a habitual and unconscious need to achieve so that we can heal the fear that's really driving us.
It helps when we feel severely stressed and under huge pressure to accomplish more in life. This is a great essence when we find it very difficult to ease up on ourselves and take a break.Red Valerian is of great support when unhealthy stress levels are due to survival issues that we've been unable to address. We are permanently on 'red alert'.Our base chakra may then respond by pushing us to do more and more until burnout occurs which can leave us feeling anxious as well as depressed.
This essence helps to bring the base chakra back into balance while helping us to work through our survival issues in ways that are much healthier and more positive.
