Pearl is one of the essences most associated with mother healing. Created inside an oyster, one of the longest living creatures on the planet, from secretions produced to deal with stress and friction, we can immediately see parallels in our mother/child relationships!

Created in water, Pearl is affected by the tidal moon which has a strong influence on our emotions. Dark pearl is activated by the new moon and responds to masculine, yang energy; light pearl by the full moon which activates female, ying energy.

Pearl intensifies and harmonises the feelings in our lower three chakras, bringing them up to the heart for purification and balance.

Pearl brings understanding of our mother or mother figure. It heals any disappointment or pain created at times of lack of love or nourishment in our childhood. Pearl softens and heals emotional traumas, bringing our emotions into balance, increasing self love and self worth. Ultimately, Pearl gives us the feeling of being in the arms of a loving mother.

Lack of Money -The Cost of Disconnection
Interestingly at a practical level, this essence grounds us so that we can build strong foundations to initiate personal financial affairs. As a practitioner I find a difficult or missing link with our mother comes hand in hand with a lack of financial abundance and organisation.

Cravings - The Result of Disconnection
Light Pearl, which activates receiving, feminine energy, physically stimulates our digestive juices so that our intestine can better assimilate nutrients and alleviate physical cravings. Whenever we're cleansing emotions and physical toxins, there is usually a craving and increase in appetite. This is often our body trying to preserve the emotional status quo. One Day Workshop
Spirit recently gave me a new focus "Take Care" was the only message. Is it a warning? Perhaps. Is it a mantra? ABSOLUTELY. What would our world be like if we moved no faster than we could "Take Care", in our thoughts, words and actions? What would we be like if we took care of our bodies and found our true rhythm?

Our Mother's LIne
My maternal grandmother was a keen gardener. When she passed on, my mother transplanted her rose bushes to her own garden. Whenever I visit I bring some of these intensely-scented roses back with me to put in the ancestral area of my home. It strengthens my heart connection through that line, bringing a feeling of loving support.

Roses have their own independent essence system; they all heal our heart wounds.

Suggested Rituals
If your mother has passed on place a bouquet in a place she loved to visit or next to her photograph in a quiet area of your home.

If you never knew your mother you could still place a bouquet of flowers in a vase and perhaps write a poem or a few lines to her, thanking her for giving you life and mentioning some of the wonderful blessings you now experience as a result of being here.

If you do any of the above rituals, then stay alert for messages from your mother's spirit through the day. Whether her spirit is still in physical form or not, whether you are on speaking terms or not, you will receive confirmation of the love which brought your spirit here.

For those of you whose mother is in spirit you may catch a waft of her favourite perfume or feel an impulse to turn on the radio and hear a significant song. Whatever our relationships in life, when we return to spirit it's a state of unconditional love where personality patterns no longer matter.

I'm sometimes asked about entities by clients who feel unwell or agitated when visiting a specific place or spending time with a particular person. They feel sabotaging impulses or intense sensations such as headaches, tingling, dizziness, sudden tiredness or extreme cold. So I'm sharing what I've seen with clients and some useful tips.
