The Enneagram is an ancient system of nine personality types. It's believed to have originally been taught orally in secret Sufi brotherhoods in the Middle East. I find it very useful in determining soul challenges in my work. Below are summaries of the gifts and challenges of each type with essence suggestions to support them. The Bach flower options are great for children and for conscious change. The deeper acting essences are best for cellular level, karmic shifts.

The Nine Enneagram Types

Wondering how to help your children or pets on Bonfire Night? The best essences for babies, children and pets are the Bach Flowers.

If your pet or child is scared of bangs then make sure you have some Emergency Essence to hand. This is a blend of the five Bach flowers which treat stress, fear, anxiety, shock and trauma. Originally called Rescue Remedy this is called Emergency Essence in the Crystal Herbs range and Five Flower Remedy by Healing Herbs. An effective brand is vital so I recommend these two, as I know they're made in the way Dr Bach described.

Giving to Children 0 - 7 years old
4 drops 4 x a day is normally enough at this age straight under the tongue or in water. For babies the remedies can be added to bath water or dabbed on pulse points.

Giving to Pets
4 drops of Emergency Essence 4 x per day is best. Add to water or sprinkle over food. Alternatively you can squirt the remedies into the animal's mouth. Any injury can be squirted with Emergency Essence or it can be dabbed on with cotton wool or onto a bandage. If the shock has just happened you can give 4 drops every twenty minutes for up to an hour until they're calm. This is true for children too.

N.B. Pets If you're putting any essences into drinking water please also provide plain water in another bowl. As far as your animal is concerned one is medicine and one is water. They may be thirsty but not need any more essences in that moment.
