Setting Your Intent
Whether your mind's in a whirl or you're drifting along with your head in the clouds, it can be easy to forget to set an intention for your actions - yet it makes a real difference.
Rather like plugging our destination into our sat nav or GPS, setting our intent before a trip, a call or a meeting means that we draw in the support of subtle energies in creating the outcome that we want.
We may ask for - and envisage - joyful connection, for example. Or mutual understanding or exciting experiences. This sets the tone and means we're present and engaged, with a positive attitude. It affects how others respond to us and changes our focus, so that we notice that which resonates with our intention, rather than that which doesn't.
As I write this I'm setting the intention to connect with you in a joyful way and envisaging you enjoying the information below and benefitting from what's on offer.
It includes remedies to release pent up emotion, energy medicine yoga for maximum relaxation and resilience, a chance to gather in group meditation and forecasts for the future as we move further into the Age of Transition.

From Frustration to Fun - Bach to Basics |
|
Do you feel pent up and tense? Do you find it hard to be spontaneous? Do you often judge yourself harshly?
If any of these apply, here are some remedy suggestions to help you let go and have more fun:
Impatiens - treats a state that's often a symptom of something deeper. You may fidget and drum your fingers and have obviously conflicted body language because you feel like a greyhound surrounded by dachshunds:) You want to race and are frustrated at how slow everyone else seems to be.
When you need this remedy you may notice that you're first to finish your food and often complete other people's sentences. Delays infuriate you, yet you may not have much stamina because you put so much energy into things, so you can also cycle into exhaustion. Then you're fed up and want to recover quickly.
When we're in this state we find it almost impossible to work with others because we don't have the patience to guide them or to handover tasks with adequate explanation and the appreciation of someone else's learning curve. People may give us a wide berth as we can be prone to angry outbursts or be abrupt with them.
Taking this remedy helps you to empathise and adjust your expectations and speed so that you go with the natural flow. This helps you pace yourself and makes it easier to be in the company of others who may not be as quick as yourself, while understanding that we all have something to learn from each other.

Cherry Plum - is the essence to use when you've learned to keep the lid on your feelings for too long. You may have congested physical symptoms such as a runny nose or constipation.You may clench your jaw and grind your teeth.
Talking about how you feel seems impossible because it's such a vortex of emotions that you can't even make sense of them. You may imagine yourself throwing things to let off steam - or even do it for real. It can feel as if you're about to explode with the pressure of the holding yourself back.
All this inner conflict may not be obvious to others but one clue can be an unnatural calm and a fixed glassy-eyed stare with very wide-open eyes.
Unfortunately many of us are brought up to hide our feelings - especially 'difficult' ones - not only from others but also from ourselves. But as we know, what we resist persists and what may have started as irritation becomes rage, what may have been disappointment becomes utter despair, what tried to show up as sadness has now deepened into grief.
When you take Cherry Plum it releases the fear of letting your emotions surface. It brings in the guidance of your higher self which can keep you safe while you access the shadows in your unconscious.
It allows you to finally open up and talk about how you're feeling so that emotions can flow and you're able to find the strength and courage you need to deal with stressful situations.

Rock Water - this state appears as an inflexible state of mind which can lead to a stiff and inflexible body and painful monthly cycles. It's noticeable when we stick to a routine such as fitness, diet or spiritual practice regardless of the circumstances, becoming our own inner sergeant-major.
We don't inflict our perfectionist ideals on others but nor do we notice how much we repress any spontaneity or fun in our life, due to our spiritual pride. Our personal drive is following our will rather than the guidance of our higher self, convinced we're right and aiming for high ideals that may be unrealistic and which don't take into account current circumstances.
We may be perceived as martyrs and killjoys and certainly as single-minded and dogmatic, able to over-ride our own emotional and physical pain to reach our goals or live up to our high ideals.
When we take Rock Water we soften on all levels, allowing ourselves to savour the pleasures of life, able to finally finish projects with the understanding that they may not be perfect but they're 'good enough'.
We're able to see and respond to our own needs, listen to our inner child and allow in new insights so that our view of the world can expand beyond our current beliefs.
