I don't know about you, but I've found this year a real rollercoaster where events continue to polarise opinions and feelings with highs and lows that can be hard to navigate.
When we're caught between two polarities, where we choose to put our attention will decide how we experience the journey. Do we focus on the flowers or the thorns, on the mistake or the insight it reveals, on the crisis or the opportunity?
The learning lies in acknowledging both - not in pretending that everything in the garden's lovely but in using its inspirational beauty to help us face the difficulties and name the hidden issues that are surfacing with this recent full moon.
The message from the cosmos is to square up to what's in front of you with courage and optimism. If either of those qualities feel in short supply, top them up by taking time to be in nature and go within. Sit around the fire with like-minded hearts and know that the greater the contrast between reality and what you'd like it to be, the greater our determination to manifest something different and the greater the clarity of our vision. The universe loves clear, focused desire - it's rocket fuel)

In this hemisphere we're approaching the shortest day of the year. This is when we're meant to be deep in our caves resting and renewing, telling each other stories around the fire and honouring the messages in our dreams.

I loved a distinction that my Qi Gong teacher made to me recently about the difference between collapsing and actively relaxing. Collapsing is what you do when you get in from work and plonk yourself in front of the television. Active relaxation actually replenishes you. It might mean doing a visualisation, meditation, yoga or Tai Chi or simply taking the dog for a walk while being mindful of noticing nothing but the present moment.
