Spiritual Hygiene
Now more than ever we need to practice good spiritual hygiene. In the same way we physically shower to wash away impurities we need to regularly shower energetically in cleansing light.
The lighter we are and the more we take care of potential energy drains and unhealthy attachments, the easier it will be to flow with the ever-changing currents and the easier it will be to assimilate the new frequencies.
It's as if we're being offered a constant array of new outfits - it's much easier to make a selection if you've been through what you've already got and given away what no longer suits. Then you have space to update your options and decide who you're now ready to be.

Move From Procrastination to Confidence - Bach to Basics |
|
One of the biggest drains on our energy is procrastination. It leaves loose ends and repeating thoughts which lead nowhere. If this is operating for you, you'll probably have a lot of half-finished projects and a build-up of stuff in your environment whether that's obvious or hidden away in a cupboard, in the garage, under the bed or in the attic.
Procrastination drains you mentally as you come back to the same decision point over and over. You may distract yourself with less important activities such as cleaning the bathroom or scrolling through social media but those steps you hesitate to take are still in the background quietly creating self-doubt, self-criticism and overwhelm.
Here are some remedies to consider when you notice you're prevaricating:
Cerato - if you often wonder if a course of action is 'right' or 'wrong', if it will conform to unwritten rules such as being considered suitable or appropriate, or if you frequently ask other people's opinions on what you should do, Cerato is for you.
In the negative Cerato state we look outside ourselves for guidance, accumulating more and more research and information but still unable to take action. We over-think until we reach 'analysis paralysis' or we follow someone else's example thinking they know better than us or make the same choice we have in the past, hoping there will be a different outcome.
If this is a lifelong pattern you may have had dominant parents who criticised your choices or asked you to do things that you could see they weren't doing themselves.
Cerato reminds you that the best guidance comes from your higher self. Listen and act on your intuition, on the still small voice inside and the more you strengthen that relationship, the more your confidence will grow. You'll realise there isn't a right or a wrong decision - simply a choice you can learn from - then you choose again.
Hornbeam - I'm starting to think of this as a 'lockdown remedy' as I prescribe it so often now. We need Hornbeam when we feel mentally listless and bored. We can't rouse ourselves to make decisions that will change our future because we feel too mentally fatigued. We wake up feeling tired before we even start the day and everything on our to-do list feels like hard work with nothing much to look forward to.
This state comes about when we get out of balance between work and rest, When each day blurs into the next and we never switch off from work, email and screens. We feel trapped by a dull routine and we wonder how we'll get through what is front of us, never mind find the energy to take important steps out of our comfort zone.
It's a state that often arises if we've had to spend an intense time working or studying to a deadline or we're confined to bed, so there's too much mental activity without enough physical recharging.
When Hornbeam gets to work it refreshes your mind. It helps you see how important it is to move and get outside, to balance work and play and prioritise pleasurable activities. It helps you to create better boundaries and become more spontaneous.
Mimulus - this is a wonderful remedy if you're very sensitive. You may feel overwhelmed by too much sensory stimulation such as bright lights, noise and crowds and long to be alone, but at the same time fear isolation. New things may make you nervous, so you need to start slowly and you get anxious when things don't work out right away or meet with opposition.
This state of inner tension arises from seeing many things as being more difficult or dangerous than they actually are. You may procrastinate out of fear of the consequence of your decision and then don't act in the hope things will somehow take care of themselves.
Mimulus floods you with courage, relieving your anxiety and enabling you to move forward and take action. Your sensitivity then becomes an asset in being able to empathise with others facing similar challenges.

Water & Shower Filters
If you have a Nikken water system or shower head, the filters need changing every 3 months of average use.
Meeting Safely - Breathe Clean Air: Nikken's air filter units may come into their own at the moment, especially during family gatherings. They clean the air to HEPA quality - the same as operating theatres. Sadly the unit's have been discontinued, but if you have one, the filter packs need changing every six months and they're still available.
