Are you looking at life through a distorted lens? As a vibrational medicine practitioner I frequently find that people contact me when they've tried everything else. By this time not only has a physical condition often become more complicated and entrenched but the person's outlook will be coloured by all the approaches that they've tried and the different prognoses they've been given.
This is when I turn to first principles. Dr Bach, who discovered the Bach flower remedies said: 'Health depends on being in harmony with our souls'. There's a reason that the largest of the seven groups of Bach remedies is the one called 'Despondency and Despair'. The greatest hindrance to recovery is often not the physical consequences of a difficult long-term situation but the emotional and spiritual damage that time has wrought. The constant raising and dashing of hope sends us on a rollercoaster. Over time the lows become ever lower and harder to come back from.
To begin any healing journey we need to first acknowledge what is, grieve what's been lost, then refuel with hope, faith and optimism. This opens the door to new possibilities. It allows for a fresh outlook and a positive perspective which permits deep change. Into every life a little rain must fall - whether that's for days, months or years - but it can allow for much stronger, more fertile growth.
