How much time and energy do you give to your own needs and goals and how much do you give to others? With a full moon in Libra and a recent Spring or Autumn Equinox, depending on your hemisphere, we're being asked to look at this balance in relationships.
It can be as easy to get caught up in your own needs and desires as it can to become diverted by those of others. How successfully we manage that particular tightrope depends on awareness, boundaries and communication.
Sometimes love asks us to stretch outside what's comfortable and, especially if we can take an empowering and facilitating role, we can be nourished by the experience. Recognising limits, being deeply honest and creating long-term resources are often the gifts of challenging times.
In the same way when our own life needs focused attention clear communication makes all the difference, otherwise silence can become a blank screen upon which all sorts of patterns can be projected. Relationships are a constant ebb and flow of energy, driven by intention and attention.
In this issue you'll find ideas on how to heighten awareness and restore balance to your inner and outer world. Please enjoy and deploy them:)
In appreciation of your company on the journey

Do you prepare for the worst and expect the best - or is it the other way round? Our expectations tend to be set when we're young and if our caregivers spent more time pointing out the times that we fell off our bike than celebrating the moments we mastered it, the lens through which we look at life might need adjusting as an adult.
Writer Sarah Dessen said: 'If you expect the worst, you'll never be disappointed' but an outlook like that is a way of defending ourselves against disappointment. If the focus is always on the negative, unconsciously we'll play a defensive game with life. Rather than pro-actively going after what we want, we spend more time reacting to perceived problems or pondering how we can respond to challenges which may never happen.
To create a joyful life we need to take risks. That's how we grow in confidence and self-esteem. Challenging ourselves has been shown to be key in happiness studies. To co-create with the universe rather than be a passive bystander, we need to act with a clear, positive intention, trusting that the Universe is supporting our endeavours.
If you procrastinate there are many possible Bach remedies but Gentian is indicated if you can't take important steps without a lot of reassurance. If you dwell on worst case scenarios, if every setback becomes a sign to stop because it isn't 'meant to be' instead of a growth point on your journey, then Gentian is your friend.
As you take Gentian you'll focus less on problems and more on solutions. Confident that they exist, your upbeat frame of mind and strong faith will draw them to you. Your positivity will encourage and inspire others. Order Gentian

Water Offer: Up to 45% off & Price Rise from April 10
| |
Given that water makes up so much of our physical body it makes sense to drink and bathe in high frequency, high energy water sources. If we're drawing on highly processed water depleted of nutrients and full of contaminants which our body then has to filter, then we're likely to feel tired and toxic.
Water Offer Nikken have reduced the price of their flagship Pi Mag® Waterfall system by 117 GBP and the filter water bottle is down by 30 GBP. Ends April 30.
The bottle and waterfall are already at the reduced price on the website.
Questions? If you need extra information please email or if you need to discuss the pros and cons of a particular situation leave a number and message 9.30-6pm Mon - Fri except Thursdays and I'll be happy to call you back: 01273 773324.
Price Rise: There will be small price rise of around 3% across the whole Nikken range on April 10. It won't affect current offers and will be pennies on small items but might be worth knowing if you have a duvet or mattress topper in mind.

Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed |
One of the more unusual totems that's come through in De Luxe Attunements is the enchanting Bush Baby. With its ability to see in the dark, it's wonderful when you're feeling confused or indecisive because it allows you to read situations and people accurately and to move quickly in response. Plus it's incredibly cute:)

Still Sandalwood & Healthy Chocolate
Is your monkey mind chattering overtime? Then Sandalwood essential oil is perfect for interrupting circular thinking, especially if you're worrying about security or needing a particular outcome.
Sandalwood is prized by yogis for its ability to still the mind and bring us back to the reality of the here and now. It resonates for the Element of Earth at its most tranquil and supportive, so it's very helpful if your pitta or Fire element needs moderating. Tell-tales signs are being irritable, restless, easily provoked, over-enthusiastic and over-committed - on the physical level there's usually redness and inflammation.
The wood is used in temples and religious icons throughout Asia and the incense is a favourite in temples and anywhere you need to quieten your mind. Unfortunately its popularity has meant it's now hard to find a sustainable source but Neal's Yard have recently found one that that they're happy with, so it's been added to their essential oil range.
Tired? Lost Your Glow? This calming and energising blend of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients contributes to fresher, younger-looking skin and replenishes energy. Including Zinc, Lemon Balm, Pantonthenic acid, B6 and B12 it's a gift to your body as it regenerates through the night.

Constellations: Restoring Love - Findhorn Saturday 6 May (7 Days)
Is there a natural order of love? And how can we influence the flow of love in the systems we are part of, family, organisational and social?
Systemic Constellations is a way of working with collective consciousness to restore the natural flow of love in families and other organisations.
Growing out of Bert Hellinger's pioneering work with Zulu tribal ritual and reconciliation work in South Africa, the practice has been used to heal imbalances ranging from divorce and adoption to personal and social wounds resulting from war. This workshop will apply systemic constellation work to the issues and situations you bring in a week full of movement, life and solutions that open hearts.

Big Magic - Liz Gilbert Workshop Saturday May 19. London NW1
| |
I'll be talking about what I consider the 5 major necessary emotional components for a creative life, as per the chapter headings in Big Magic: Courage, Enchantment, Permission, Persistence and Trust. (I'm leaving out 'divinity', because it's basically the same thing as 'enchantment')
The workshop will be divided into those 5 chapters, and I'll lead you into writing exercises where - in letters to and from parts of yourself - you'll be invited to explore your creative dreams and obstacles, and to learn about these aspects of your own creative consciousness.
Participants will need a writing implement and paper. No electronic devices will be allowed in the classroom.
