Give Yourself a Present
This time of year can be busy on all fronts so it's easy to become stressed or overwhelmed. Your head may be full of things you should be doing, or that you're planning to do later - taking you away from the present moment.
The fastest way to stress yourself is to try to do more than one thing at a time, so simplify wherever you can - you're way more effective and productive when you're calmer.
Even if you meditate regularly, I'd add mini meditations at busy times. There's a saying: 'Sit in meditation for twenty minutes every day - unless you're too busy; then sit for an hour.' In other words it's when we're busy or anxious that we most need to bring ourselves present.
It's tempting to keep mentally running through your to-do list while trying to get it done but it's far better to calm your mind, decide on the next action and begin that with intention and commitment. The clearer and more present you are, the easier it is for the universe to send you unseen help and sychronicities that allow you to get the job done easily and joyfully. At the end of the task take a few minutes to refocus and centre yourself before creating your next intention and visualise that unfolding easily.

From Pain to Love - Bach to Basics |
|
Are you sometimes on a hair-trigger? Do loud noises and bright lights make you want to lash out? Do you have strong allergic reactions and low tolerance of alcohol?
Many of us may struggle to admit that we need this remedy but it's one of Bach's primary remedies that works as a catalyst when blended with others.

Anxiety is the end result of old accumulated fear, panic, and having lost control in your life.
