The world clamours endlessly for our attention through our screens and the people around us. These require energy from our head or our heart - or both. Too often we only look inwards at times of trouble. It's rather like trying to finally understand how a device works when you're under time pressure instead of having mastered it with regular use. Sometimes people see taking time 'to be' as unproductive, wasted or being lazy when it's actually key to emotional resilience and physical and mental health.
