Do you use all the crayons in your box?
It's so easy to limit our impact and our joy by using the same few crayons: the personality traits we were praised for when we were young and the gifts that were supported. But what about those crayons that never made it out of the box? The features of your personality that got you into trouble, the talents that threatened those around you so they were shoved to the back of the box.
If life feels a bit grey at work or at home, if you feel sure that 'there's more to life than this', have a rummage in your box of crayons. Be brave and experiment with colours that you may now be ready to use. Draw your life differently and discover new possibilities, new skills, new relationships, new opportunities and new parts of yourself that can come out to play in the light of your acceptance and curiosity.

Struggling to focus? Quite a few of you have had Loosestrife in your attunements recently which isn't surprising as we begin to withdraw indoors. | From Guilt to Self-Acceptance | |
Is it hard to allow love in? Do you often feel you can't do enough to help? Do you feel guilty when you need to deliver 'tough love' ? Do you apologise when you're exhausted, ill or in a low mood? Are you cut off from joy? In short, do you wish you were the person that your dog thinks you are?
We all do things we regret or that weren't as good as we'd have liked. If you can accept that and move on that's great, but if a voice in your head says 'I shall never forgive myself for...' or if you dwell on your mistakes and too readily blame yourself, then Pine is the Bach remedy for you.
Pine is superb for showing you the true extent of response-ability. For example some people don't recycle because they tell themselves one person can't impact the problems of a whole planet. Pine addresses the opposite delusion: a belief that you're responsible for solving the planet's problems, so you beat yourself up for every cotton bud you've ever used and feel the need to justify every purchase - only replacing something if it's broken beyond repair - and often hoarding the defunct version in case it will somehow come in useful.
This over-responsible complex can be a driver to join the caring professions, but sooner or later the inability to receive and the endless giving will lead to burnout. Since the problems of others aren't yours to solve, you'll never feel enough, too often undeserving of either comfort or abundance.
If you're in a Pine state finances can be a double bind because you struggle to receive abundance yet at the same time feel guilty that you aren't earning as much as you should. This pattern is often generated by ancestral loyalties where, at an unconscious level, we feel we need to honour those in our line who knew hardship, so we feel guilty if we receive more than meets our basic needs.
If this description speaks to you, then the Bach remedy Pine will shed light on that childhood definition of right and wrong that resonates so strongly into adulthood that you're unconsciously expecting punishment for every mistake or failed outcome.
Part of maturing as a soul means that we redefine right and wrong. It's no longer a parental voice in our head but the voice of our soul wisdom that we need to listen to.
