The Laws of Attraction and Manifestation, Family Systems and our Soul Purpose
Sometimes we need a lift, an insight or an extra boost of inspiration and a really good book or DVD can do just that. If you'd like to explore the metaphysical aspect of life, it's well presented in the film 'What the bleep do we know?' now available on DVD. And as a more 'mainstream' take on a similar theme I recommend a film called The Secret, featuring, among others, Bob Proctor and Esther Hicks, author of the inspiring Ask and It Is Given.
Esther features in the film The Secret, a book of the film is now out in which The Secret is explained by teachers including Jack Canfield, John Demartini and Neale Donald Walsch. The teachers focus on one topic at a time, illustrating how to use The Secret to realise your dreams in the areas of relationships, health, abundance, and even world peace. The book is also available as an audio version to inspire you in the car and while you're doing the household chores or out jogging.
And if you like The Secret - you'll love this! A collection of writings by Florence Scovel Shinn, a metaphysical teacher in the early 20th century. She writes upliftingly about Universal Laws and how to stay in the flow, illustrated by stories of everyday events. Thought-provoking and great to dip into for inspiration.
And, talking of inspiration, much of my karmic work draws from the principles of family constellations, as developed by Bert Hellinger. One of the most readable authors I have found on this subject is John L Payne and I have also included on this page a book called Supporting Love , compiling some of Hellinger's views on how to keep relationships healthy.
