When we first come into life we are very open, often experiencing our parents' or carers' emotions as our own. Indeed, the emotional environment of the womb can feel like 'home' which we may unconsciously recreate in later life, however imperfect it was. It can be illuminating to investigate the circumstances of your gestation and birth to get a feeling for that initial imprint.

Many times in childhood we may experience difficult events when there is no one to support us or in a situation when we don't feel able to express our feelings about it. Perhaps we unconsciously want to protect our family from our 'difficult' feelings or we feel they're unacceptable or shameful. These feelings are then buried or closed off in a part of ourselves which we disown. However, in later life when a similar situation recurs, our reaction may then be out of all proportion because it has a lot of unprocessed emotional baggage attached to it. For example, you may find packing exceedingly stressful because you had to move many times as a child or you may find Xmas brings up enormous sadness and fear for you as this was a time when there was a lot of alcohol around and one of your parents or relatives would become abusive. Our emotional body does not experience linear time, so when a memory is triggered the feelings associated with it are as real and as vivid as if it were happening now.

Acceptance
The nature of acceptance is being at one with life and with the Creator. From acceptance of one's situation stems the ability to feel forgiveness and love. As we learn to accept the life we've chosen, the circumstances, place and family, we can come to terms with who we are now and how this childhood has fashioned us. Through loving acceptance of this we can appreciate all we've learned and experienced in this life and start to see the gifts held within it. We can only be healed through this loving acceptance of who we are, of our unique story which has formed our individuality and gives us all that is needed for our soul growth. Acceptance of this brings the opportunity for further transformation.

Balance
This Essence restores balance to those whose personality is very up and down. One day they're in harmony, the next day they're not at peace with themselves at all. Particularly good for those with an unbalanced solar plexus chakra which is often related to emotional problems in childhood. When this chakra is not clear and fully functioning it can cause not just digestion or stomach problems but can also affect the whole body including liver, spleen, kidneys and ears. In the personality there's often indecision or restlessness with the mind going from one extreme to another as it becomes mentally over-stimulated and excitable. Birth
Held in the consciousness of us all is the birthing memory into this physical body. For most of us it was one of the most traumatic events of our life. The shock of moving out through the birth canal, leaving the safety and warmth of the mother's womb, to enter a cold world often to be confronted with slaps, surgery and a clinical, antiseptic, hospital atmosphere. The immediate cuddles and love, being in the mother's arms are what's needed, with the cord being cut in this position. Courage
The courage of a child can be seen clearly when the aspect of fearlessness takes over and the child climbs a tree many times its own size with no fear of falling. Many fears and anxieties, however, are developed in childhood through parental and other influences. Fear's instilled each time the child hears that something is dangerous or harmful. The outside world can start to be looked upon in terror. Fears can also develop through ill treatment, and a direct relationship can often be found between the terror of a child who is beaten or abused and illness later in life. As the fears, which are often the original cause, are cleared away so the body starts to reflect this new level of consciousness. This is a very important combination as fear is often the underlying energy behind many other patterns such as anger and guilt. As this essence is taken it transmutes childhood fears and anxieties very gently, layer by layer; powerfully expanding the innate natural courage which we all hold within our hearts.

Decisive
Indecision comes when we can't trust our intuition, for this aspect of our divine nature will always guide us to the right decision. Intuition, while being a sacred gift through our connection to our higher-self, is also something much more tangible. If we practise listening to it and feeling it, it will grow stronger until we know which decision to make in any given circumstances. This also takes trust, both in the feelings themselves and also Mother-Father God or the Universe, for we're a part of that whole. Decision making can be as simple as following what feels right in the heart rather than the ego, always asking for the highest divine good in any situation. Delight
A young child has the ability to delight in the simple pleasures of life, a playfulness that is completely unselfconscious. The smile of a child can lighten any heart and brings cheer to all who see it, as people are able to release their burdens and sorrows for a few moments of wonder. This essence brings the qualities of playfulness, joy and simple delight in life and all experiences, thus dissolving some of the serious nature which we felt we had to develop as we became a responsible adult. Faith
Our original faith in a truly loving Creator that supports and nurtures us and a Divine Universe that shows us the path home is restored with this essence. Remember the wonder with which we stared at the night sky in all its radiance, as a child, with the inner knowing that all was well, regardless of how bad our outer circumstances may have seemed. These are the feelings that are rekindled through the use of this combination. Through this inner knowing held in our hearts, (not just our minds!), we develop faith and trust in life and in our relationships.

Family
With this essence we're powerfully restoring the purity of our genes and release the 'negative' patterning of our ancestors. In later life, as we think back to our grandparents or great-grandparents, we can see how their personalities have fashioned our family life experience, sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. The saying 'blood is thicker than water' often seems to be a misnomer as many of us say we can 'choose friends but not relations', not realising we chose the exact family to help us clear karma and patterns before incarnating. The hatred, anger or judgement of a past ancestor will carry on down the family, influencing the behaviour of future generations. So too are carried the guilt and karmic burden of murder and other acts. All are held within the DNA and through that the body, cells and subconscious of the Inner Child. Father
This essence helps to release difficult patterns or emotions related to the father or father figure. Helps develop more love, understanding and forgiveness in the relationship and brings balance to ones own masculine nature, women need this too!

Forgiveness
To see true forgiveness in action, watch a pure innocent child, untainted by life, forgiving immediately the parent who has just scolded them. Watch the dog who has been beaten by his master, who, with open heart and love, goes to lick and console this person who now maybe feels guilty. For-give means our love is for-giving. Forgiveness is a place within our hearts where there is no judgement of ourselves or others. When we judge another we become resentful of that person and hence forgiveness is impossible. By releasing our judgement of situations in childhood, or the way people behaved towards us, through an understanding that none are perfect (including ourselves), we are more able to access that closed off portion of our hearts to bring true forgiveness and love to really heal the situations andrelationships of the past. This combination of essences works by helping us to release judgement, so that love and forgiveness may take its place.

Freedom
Freedom helps us to regain the freedom of our true self by releasing controlling aspects of our personality. The need to emotionally or mentally control others often stems from a childhood when either or both parents held these patterns and became our role model. These rigid behavioural patterns are also, often, karmic in origin and go very deep. The need to control is often the reflection of a harsh inner life where continual criticism and self judgement become externalised. The need to always be right is one sign that this essence is needed, as Dr Bach said: 'give others their freedom and gain your own'. Underneath these patterns is always a deep sense of fear and insecurity. The school bully is wanting to show how powerful he really is, but only picks on those weaker than himself. The need to dominate others only leads to unhappiness as those around us feel used, angry and disempowered. True freedom comes from freeing our spirit, our judgements and recognising that our true power comes from an open heart. Those we free can then become their true selves and our relationships become much stronger.

Goodwill
During childhood there is always anger of one kind or another, although in adulthood we may choose not to remember and prefer to suppress the anger we felt. This happens particularly when we've been taught that anger is not right and therefore, to be a 'good' person to gain the love and approval of our parents or teachers, we suppress all feelings of anger. This can leave us feeling impotent in future situations which make us angry, as we are not able to express the emotion which comes naturally to us. This eventually leads to blocked energy in the sacral and throat chakras, which then become dysfunctional with the knock on effect of damaging the physical body and internal organs. This essence helps to release and transmute this blocked energy, particularly when perpetuated in childhood. This can eventually lead to a natural expression of anger, but transmuted through a loving heart, so it does not damage another but releases a powerful, creative energy from within which can be used to empower ourselves and help transform our environment into a more honest and creative place.

Gratitude
Gratitude, like forgiving, stems from an open heart chakra. When we give thanks for the great gift of this sacred life and the endless opportunities this opens up for us, we become a part of the living stream of consciousness called creation. In this stream we're one with all life forms, all possibilities and the sacredness of being here. It's through gratefulness that we access our Divine Abundance, as this is part of this flow, this oneness. As we recognise that our childhood was a unique situation which gave us all opportunities for soul and personality growth, we can look back with gratitude as our Inner Child becomes healed. Each day presents us with more to be grateful for, and as our hearts expand with love, praise and thanks to our great Creator, so more of that natural abundance will manifest in our lives.

Grief
This essence works powerfully at an emotional level, releasing and transmuting grief in all its forms. While it's working on the recent grief of loss of loved ones through death, divorce and other more subtle forms of loss such as home, work or pets for instance, this essence can also work at even deeper levels. When we lose someone very close to us in childhood, especially a mother or father, the severe emotional impact of this profoundly affects our life. The grief we feel at that loss, whether through death, divorce of parents and especially adopted children who never knew parents, is usually unexpressed at the time, either through shock, or other family members encouraging us to put on a brave face. This unexpressed grief then gets pushed down gradually until it becomes a dull ache in the heart and creates much subconscious fear. If these feelings are not worked on, eventually that blocked heart chakra at a subtle level will lead to a more physical expression, usually in the lungs. This can lead to precancerous states if promptings to heal the underlying cause are not heeded. When we have a spiritual understanding of the eternal life of the soul, death can become a celebration of the gift of life that person has given us and the world - but even then we must acknowledge our grief, which is often sadness for our own loss and the fact that we'll never see that person again in a physical form in this life and allow ourselves to indulge these feelings fully; for only then can they be transmuted through an open and loving heart. The love that existed between you can never die and they will always live on, both in the higher planes of existence and also in the heart.

Guardian Angel
Each of us is assigned a guardian angel to help us link into our spiritual nature and connection with our divine light. This angelic being is drawn close to us at our birth, and the link is forged then, to continue through this lifetime and afterwards. Those of a sensitive nature may be aware of the presence of this angel, which represents our own angelic inner self. We may even learn how to communicate with this presence to receive help, healing or clear guidance. This is always given for our highest divine good as the purpose of the guardian angel is to give us spiritual help and sustenance whenever it is needed. The angelic realms have never taken on a physical body on earth, choosing instead to support humanity from the higher spiritual dimensions. We, in our physical density, eventually realise the need to make contact with these finer, more harmonious vibrations, so that we may incorporate our spiritual nature into our physical lives. Humility
True humility shows an inner knowing from the heart, not just the head, of the Oneness of all life. 'What you do unto my brother, you do unto me' expresses this level of consciousness exactly. Ultimately we realise that we're just one family and that on other dimensions each of us is connected at subtle levels with each other. Therefore all the energies, both positive and negative, that we see in others is simply a reflection of some part of our own consciousness, whether we're aware of it or not. While we're all unique individuals, the paradox is that none of us are separate from the whole. Therefore no one is better or more superior than another, one only has different life experiences or knowledge. The way the personality expresses that realisation gives a clue as to how spiritually evolved they actually are. A humble person will share their help, skills or knowledge with others, without seeming to come from a more advanced or better level. They themselves know that they could be either. They share their love and light in humble service to others. This essence helps to change our consciousness that we may become more like them.

Innocence
The innocence held in a baby's beautiful face is held in the vibrational frequency of this essence and that quality is expanded by its use. In that innocence of a young child there is no sense of being wrong as embarrassment, shame and guilt feelings haven't yet been developed. A child is pure and unselfconscious in thought and action and there's no part of its mind or body that is not an aspect of the Divine. As the child grows it may be taught that its own body, natural bodily functions or sexual organs are somehow dirty and something to be ashamed of, which can generate a lot of guilt held as a deep subconscious pattern. This will hinder not just the development of a truly loving, balanced sexual relationship with future partners but will also cause a lack of self-love, leading to abuse of the sacred body through possible addictions to tobacco, drugs, alcohol, food or sex. On a subtle level the sacral chakra becomes blocked or over-active and dysfunctional which can eventually create physical ailments such as lower back pain, unbalanced spleen energy and for women possible menstrual problems. If feelings of uncleanness or self-disgust are very strong they can often manifest physically as skin problems, such as acne or eczema. This is a way for our spirit to show us and the world how we feel about ourselves in the hope that we may change the thoughts, lifestyle or diet which are the underlying causes of physical toxins being released from our body. This Divine Innocence essence helps release these and many other issues, giving a return to the purity of self.

Intimacy
Often in childhood there is a lack of closeness with the family. This is often due to the parents inability to fully love or to express that love outwardly. This is usually passed down through families, and if one finds it difficult to spontaneously hug another or express the emotion of love, through words or actions, then one will assume that this is a natural way to be and so grows up unable to experience true intimacy of feelings with another person. The child may grow up feeling that really open loving communication was denied, even though knowing at a deeper level that they were in fact loved despite the lack of expression. Thus barriers are created around the heart chakra which keeps others some distance away, unable to come together in a truly close and loving way, and there will always be a silent and cold space within which yearns for really deep and close contact with another. Even in marriage or close relationships there will be the inability to express love and share deep feelings, as it is not part of ones experience and therefore seems strange. This combination of essences helps release and transmute those barriers to deep,loving intimacy.

Love
This beautiful essence helps to expand the Divine Love nature. Our natural way of being is one of Unconditional Love for all, as expressed through a small child who simply loves everyone and everything. The child sees no difference between people, animals, flowers, stones or even the very soil of Mother Earth as the love is felt for all of God's creations. As the human state progresses this purest, highest heart energy may become suppressed, blocked or simply distorted. As we raise our levels of consciousness to the heart so we also raise our love nature to that of pure, Divine Love. This releases us from all lower self ties and we can simply and lovingly refuse to get involved with anything less than perfect love, thus giving an opportunity for everyone around us to change. This supreme essence works very gently to expand the Divine Love already held within the heart of our inner child, waiting patiently until we are willing and able to feel and experience Love again.

Mother
This essence helps to release any difficult patterns or emotions related to the mother or mother figure. Helps develop more love, understanding and forgiveness and also helps one feel more at ease with ones own feminine aspects, men need this too!

Mother Earth
Held in the memory banks of our Inner Child is often an awareness of being on the earth plane during times of her transition and shock. Memories of being involved in earthquakes, tidal waves, erupting volcanoes, wars and bombings are just some of the energies released and transmuted by this essence. These memories may be held in the very deep subconscious as patterns from past lives, societies fears or even from this life. All these energies create fear of being on Mother Earth and feelings that it is unsafe to be in a physical body. This essence helps us to feel safe and nurtured by Mother Earth on our Divine Path, essential to our well-being.

Moving Forward
There are many times in our life where we feel stuck and unable to move forward. On our path of transformation as we work on ourselves, consciously releasing patterns that no longer serve our Highest Divine Good, we feel happier and experience more joy in life as we are changing. We often experience a time of peace as our vibrational frequencies are raised to higher levels, giving us an expanded consciousness, as we need time to assimilate our new energies before our higher self once again releases old or subconsious patterns to work on. This time period is like a plateau. It is often at this time that we start to feel stuck, especially when old patterns start to rear their heads and we think 'Oh no, I thought I had dealt with that issue!'. We may feel frustrated, angry or depressed even though we realise that there are many layers to each of our issues, and that these can only be cleared a layer at a time, as we move deeper to the heart of the pattern for healing at soul level. At other times we may just get a feeling that it's time to move on to something new in some area of our life. Moving Forward is the essence of choice for these often difficult periods.

Obsessions
Obsessions and addictive tendencies can cause many problems in life and much sorrow. These patterns may be issues we have come in to this life to work on, which are then brought into consciousness by parents who display them. The father who goes out to drink most nights may pass the idea to the child that this is accepted behaviour (especially when the mother complies) and this may give them alcoholic tendencies when they grow up; though it may sometimes give the opposite - a strong aversion. The same applies to smoking, excessive or unhealthy food intake, drugs or sexual issues. Obsessional patterns are usually karmic in origin and again we may choose the exact parents who will amplify these energies, so we may later clear them for the growth of our soul. An obsession becomes all the mind wants to focus on, to the exclusion of all else. In a sense, it's another kind of escapism from normal life, and not wishing to be fully present, whether the person is obsessed by books, crystals, sex or anything else. Most of us have obsessions or addictions of one kind or another. Often they are rather more subtle; we can be addicted to always being right or to diets or travelling. This essence will help release our trapped thoughts and emotional energies, to help us become a more balanced and happy person.

Peace
During childhood there can be many incidents which create shocks leaving us emotionally, mentally or physically disturbed. Any trauma in early years will cause a ripple effect which continues to affect us for the rest of our life, until it's released. Besides the obvious ones such as death of a parent or close friend, cruel treatment, sexual abuse or involvement in wars, there are other issues, which, in comparison may seem insignificant but which can also have a very strong effect on the young mind. Abuse at school by teachers or peers can shatter our confidence for life, as can the divorce of parents, or moving house and leaving ones friends behind and having to adjust to new schools. To a child these are all major issues but often the emotional responses to these are suppressed at the time for various reasons, only to haunt us later in life as subconscious patterns. All these and more will continue to disturb our inner peace until they're brought to the light for transformation. This essence will help to do just that and more. Be prepared for memories from childhood or the resulting thought patterns or emotions to come into your consciousness, to be gently released and transmuted. This process can often happen in our sleep if it would be too traumatic to deal with consciously. Ask the angels and your Higher Self to help you with this if you need to. This is deep healing for the inner child on all levels.

Prosperity
Prosperity means to 'have plenty of', this is also a state called Divine Abundance. Some people are born with a natural form of this divine energy, regardless of their childhood circumstances. We all know someone like this, who leads a charmed life, with good things always happening to them, and their needs always being met. This is often because of the good karma which has been accrued from past lives. To reach this state we need to release poverty consciousness and the thoughts which tell us that we'll never have enough. Often these patterns have been developed in childhood, usually where the child has chosen to incarnate in a poor family where there's never enough money, so that we may work on these energies for the growth of our soul. We also need to feel deserving. In our natural, connected state we know that Mother/Father God wants us have everything we need. It is our own thoughts and feelings that block this energy, for it is not just money, but all good things which make life worth living - loving relationships, creative fulfilling work, healthy food and a harmonious place to live. This essence is helping to break up these negative thought and emotional patterns so that more abundance can flow in our lives and we learn to prosper.

Protected
At those times when we feel vulnerable to both the energies of others and the environment, this essence will help us to feel more protected and less open to outside influences. The need for more protection often stems from childhood where there's been abuse of some kind. Also there are individuals who, having entered this lifetime with increased sensitivity, or as a first life on this sacred planet, will feel the need for this essence. Those who have chosen to incarnate to work with healing and psychic gifts are not called 'sensitives' for nothing. It is our heightened sensitivity, which when balanced, allows us the privilege of feeling and working with higher energies, instinctively feeling the needs of others, tuning in for essences or sensing the subtle energies of ley lines. This essence will help to give us a stronger, balanced solar plexus chakra (the lower psychic centre), creating a shield of protection around it and building up a stronger auric field so that any 'negative' energies or thought patterns encountered may simply bounce off the subtle bodies, no longer penetrating the emotional senses. This does not mean that you'll be unaware of them, but you'll feel more compassion as they no longer affect you emotionally. This gives you the space to open your heart, for when this higher centre is fully open the Unconditional Love in your heart allows you to feel your vulnerability without fear. As it says in the Course in Miracles: 'Vulnerability is perfect protection'

Relate
This combination of essences helps to raise consciousness. This then helps us to have more understanding of our childhood, and particularly our own emotional re-actions which were developed as mechanisms for our survival. As an example, if we were denied a fathers love, we may have reacted by always trying to please him in order to win his love. We may have then grown up with this pattern, then projected it onto men in general, and will always be trying to win their approval. This can be at great detriment to our own personality development and creative growth. We'll then continue to draw to us in all relationships with men, those who abuse or bully us, subjugating our own needs to second place, until the pattern is recognised, worked on and healed. Then we no longer attract dysfunctional relationships and open the door to more harmony. This is just one example of the many re-actions and emotional responses we develop in childhood which later need healing.

Release - Cutting Ties
With this essence we're working on releasing emotional neediness and the energies which generate them. These patterns affect almost all humanity, as we learn to raise the energy of what is commonly known as 'love', on earth, from the Solar-plexus to the Heart Chakra. This creates a higher frequency of love, known as Unconditional Love, in which emotional neediness does not exist. Archetypes calling for this essence are the 'needy child' and 'needy mother', although it's helpful and necessary for all of us to release emotional ties with others. For that is what happens, on an emotional level, as through our neediness we create etheric cords/ties to others. Our Inner Child is crying out for attention and at a subconscious level is needing love. This need creates the subtle, yet powerful connections to others, usually creating an etheric link, through our thoughts, at the Solar-plexus chakra. In the extreme state we can drain the energy of others, and they too can drain us. Letting go of emotional neediness and attachments, even to those closest to us is deep Inner Child healing and one of the most powerful things we can do. We then start to develop more emotional detachment and are able to stand in our own energy field in a more balanced and unconditionally loving state.

Self Worth
Self worth equates with honouring who we really are and our true value to others and ourselves. When we value our existence and our unique individual qualities, we're able to be an expression of the Divine. It's then easier to be confident and achieve that which we came here to do. When we feel good enough there's no need to strive for success as it will come easily and quite naturally from our good opinion and emotional honesty of who we really are, and unconditional love for our TRUE SELF. The associated thoughts will be that we can do anything which we feel guided from the heart to do, and in the completion of that work will come such deep satisfaction, appreciation of our life and our innate, natural gifts. This is a completely different, spiritual approach to that of the ego of those lacking self worth. Then, the ego's voice will urge us to strive, overwork and torture ourselves to achieve, to gain more wealth, and all the external expressions of money or fame. Life then becomes a treadmill as we become a slave to the ego driven by a subconscious lack of self worth. As we take this essence and develop more Self-Worth, this divine quality helps us become more of who we really are, easily and effortlessly.

Simplicity
In today's society a child is taught at school that it is best to become intellectual and there is a strong focus on the need to be able to achieve academically. Not only is this pressure very stressful for a child, it can also make us too mental in our approach to life. We can then easily lose our connection to the natural world, our instincts, feelings and intuition. When this happens, our left brain, the masculine, rational side, becomes too stimulated and overloaded, creating stress, headaches and the inability to relax. Our natural state is one of balance, using all the attributes of the right brain, feminine, creative, intuitive and receptive. As we start to use the feminine side of our nature more, we'll find that everything becomes much easier and that often the simplest ideas and ways of doing things are the best. Ideally, we'd be working with a perfect balance of left/right brain, both sides in harmony. To do this we also need to release our ego's pride and feelings of superiority as we humbly acknowledge our position as a child of Mother/Father God here in Divine Service to our fellow man and equal to all other beings on this earth. This essence helps us to return, in all humility, to the uncomplicated child that we once were.

Soul Gifts
This essence helps us to remember our Soul gifts. These are the Divine Attributes which we carry within our akashic record, or Soul memory. During previous lifetimes we've developed talents which are many and varied, depending on our own particular soul journey. Each of us has chosen to learn about Unconditional Love through a different stream of conscious living, choosing to learn through fear, guilt or other ego patterns. As these are overcome, so we develop joy, peace, balance and many more wonderful qualities. We also develop talents such as musicianship, artistry, knowledge of plants, and anything else you care to imagine. The ability to communicate with angels or to be really good at making things with one's hands for instance, are often the memories flooding through from previous incarnations. Most of us have not even begun to access these treasures held in the secret recesses of our soul. This essence will bring through these Divine Accomplishments into our consciousness so that we may utilise them now for the joy and benefit of others and ourselves. Soul Retrieval
When we go through difficult times in life and especially when there is shock or trauma involved, it is very easy to become ungrounded. In this state of not wanting to be here, the personality will often reject or deny some of the issues involved, not wanting to acknowledge them or to feel the related emotional pain. During this process of rejection, parts of the personality can splinter off the whole to leave the individual somehow incomplete. With this comes a feeling of not being totally "together". The painful memories are usually buried deeply and make their way into the subconscious, where they will sit waiting for the time when they can rise into the mind for transformation into light. The process of drawing back the missing parts into the fractured personality is called Soul Retrieval. This means to retrieve the sparks of consciousness which have been lost, so as to make the personality whole again. Soul Retrieval essence helps return that which is lost and to help complete the inner child.

Stillness
Patience is a virtue we all need to acquire or develop. In this hurrying world we often feel there is no time to do the things we'd like to do and we can feel pressurised by others to pack as much as possible into each day. In truth, we've forgotten that time doesn't really exist and that it's man-made, an invention that has enslaved us. Learning to live by the natural rhythms of Mother Earth is one way to develop a 'timeless nature'. Impatience leads to nervous tension, makes our body rigid, our muscles tense, gives us indigestion and an angry or snappy nature. These patterns we choose to work with help lead us back to a true recognition of the meaning of time. As with most Inner Child patterns, they can become more extreme as we grow older and only then, through the stress we create for ourselves, do we start to recognise the cause and work with it. Recognising when
we're impatient is an important step towards changing. Waiting in a queue or traffic jam, or for a friend who's late can make us very wound up and angry; as can watching someone who seems very slow and wanting to take over their work to finish it more quickly. Eating our meals too quickly, driving too fast and wanting everything done now are all signs that we have lost our inherent, natural stillness. As we become more patient, our minds and bodies become relaxed and our pace of life seems to slow. Making 'time' to meditate each day helps our mind to stop racing and more of our spiritual nature to develop. Stillness Essence helps develop more patience with ourselves and those around us.

Truth
'From the mouths of babes' A child will often speak pure, unadulterated truth, often at the expense of others feelings, simply because the child is pure, innocent and has nothing to hide. The child hasn't yet developed ulterior motives, hidden agendas or the ability to lie. If you want to know exactly how things really are, ask a child. Gradually, however, the child will lose the power of that straight talking as it realises that it is often not the way to gain people's approval or love. The world has become used to emotional blackmail, manipulation and lies. Society's values have become superficial, as we seem to have lost a lot of spiritual values like truth, honour and integrity. As the child grows up blockages will form around the throat chakra and these patterns can become the causal factor in physical problems in that area. This essence helps us to speak our truth, unafraid, from an open heart, the place of Unconditional Love. In this way the truth is harmful to none, everyone will know exactly how we feel, and we feel honest and in our integrity, our true, child-like self.

Vision
Many of us incarnated with full clear vision, with the natural spiritual gifts of clairvoyance, clairaudience or clairsentience. There's also a very high percentage of these "special" children being born now, at this exciting time in mankind's history, to help take the world into the new golden age of spiritual truth. Unfortunately, what often happens in today's society is that the child will be labelled strange or disturbed and so the child, in conjunction with the higher self, will close down the vision of the third eye, until such time as that gift is needed for the fulfillment of their Divine Mission. Sometimes this gift is simply the deep inner knowing that they've incarnated for some special purpose but more often it is a vague feeling of something they came to do which will be joyful and fulfilling. Over time these feelings can become lost in all the worldly demands of life. Sometimes it's necessary for the personality's soul growth to have some other experiences first and many earthly skills developed in this earlier time prove very helpful later, nothing is ever wasted! So, all children should be encouraged to talk about their secret friend and to learn to trust in the delightful vision of fairies unfurling flower petals in the garden. This, our highest and most natural state of being, is honoured in this essence as it rekindles the memory of our sacred purpose.
